There are many ways to earn money online from the comfort of home. I think that people that have a love for computers and a passion for affiliate marketing can certainly succeed but you must have patience, persistance and more patience. It may not happen overnight. Affiliate programs are programs which allow you, the affiliate, to post links on your website to drive sales or traffic to a merchant site in which you are paid a commission of the sales or traffic you generate. Finding a good webhost is very important in building a good website. There are some free webhosts if you’re starting out with a low budget. I think a good one to start with is Freewebs.com. I started out with this one and they have a great website builder and have lots of templates to choose from. You can start off with a free website and gradually upgrade as you start to earn money.

Affiliate Programs

Once you have your website and good hosting, you can start applying to affiliate programs. Most are free to join and have no requirements. Affiliate networks are a good idea also. They offer lots of programs that you can promote on your website. They pay you in different ways. Either pay per click, pay per sale or pay per lead. I also recommend Google AdSense. Google matches ads to your site’s content, and you earn money whenever your visitors click on them. So just driving traffic to your site can earn you a lot of money.

Marketing

Once you have your website up and running, it is a must that you advertise it. If you pack your website full of affiliate programs, pay-per-click and clickbank products just to name a few, good marketing can have you making money before you know it. There’s lots of free advertising sites on the internet. Safelist, Yahoo groups, Email Marketing, and creating your own list are some great ways to drive traffic to your site. I also recommend offline advertising.

There are lots of other ways to earn money online. Some companies pay you to take surveys online or even just to read emails. Ofcourse, make sure you research companies that require a fee or ask for money to start. Alot of good companies do require some money but be sure to check them out with the BBB before committing you time and money.
