Previously I talked about Cost Per Action (CPA) Marketing and its potential of it being an easy way to earn money online. In that article, I outlined the fact that no money need change hands for your (as an affiliate) to profit.

I also outlined that this type of marketing may or may not be an easy way to earn money online. Why?

You see, CPA Marketing (like all other businesses) requires that you are focused and persistent. Without those traits, you’ll fail. This is also true of all other businesses.

However, with Cost Per Action Marketing, this type ob business is different in that it is not focused on selling a product. Huh?

Let me put it this way;

When you choose a CPA offer to promote, the company making that offer is very focused. They are not fiddling around with many other non-related offers. Where they have other products, it’s likely that they’re all related in some way.

Whereas, on the other hand, for you to make money with CPA Marketing you must focus on a lot more than one offer. Yes you can make money on one offer. And you may do pretty okay with it too. But to make the big bucks, that you hear the gurus talking about, you must expand your horizons and target multiple offers in multiple markets.

And that’s where it might be a no go for some. That’s where CPA Marketing might not be such an easy way to make money online. Why?

Because this can become extremely overwhelming. By this I mean that you have to keep track of what offers you’re promoting and where. Two to four offers are okay. But beyond that, it becomes intimidating.

So you need to be highly organized. Failure to be organized is a failure to plan. Ian if you fail to plan properly, then you’re setting yourself up for a fall.

If you’re a highly organized person, then this is a great business for you. But if you aren’t organized, it still could be a good business for you – provided you either learn to organize your life in such a way that you can cope. Or you learn to outsource a lot of this work and let others do the stuff you aren’t good at.

If you are not prepared to do what it takes to succeed, then don’t go into CPA Marketing, or any other business, until you’re actually ready to do so. Because, believe me, it’s no picnic when you’re not ready.
